When the selection gets down to the final three America never realized how far she would get, and how she would fall in love with Maxon. After all she only stayed in the selection so that her family could receive money. But as the threats outside of the palace begin to worsen America will be forced to make a choice between the amazing Maxon who slowly won over her heart, or Aspen her love from the start. The ultimate question is who will be the one?
Let me just say, THIS BOOK WAS PERFECT (ok now to continue on) In this book you really get to see what goes on on the other side of the palace, such as the rebels and how they communicate with the palace. America really steps into the role of queen towards the end of the book when she chooses to take action. I really enjoyed this series and they seemed to only get better with the next book. This one in particular was my favorite because of the twists and turns that you don't see coming. I highly recommend it!
