After America has been selected to compete for prince Maxon's heart, the contestants are leaving very quickly leaving America as one of the elite. The other girls are closing in on Prince Maxon, making the competition fiercer than ever. America is falling harder than ever before for Maxon as well, but when Aspen shows up as a guard she is left dreaming of the life she wanted with him before the selection.
This book was absolutely stunning, in comparison to the first book; The Selection, it only got better. The troubles America and her friends face while competing were played out flawlessly while building up to those moments when you just cant help but cry for the characters. (extreme applauding to Kiara Cass) I absolutely loved The Elite and I will read it over and over again.
