Allison McKreasy is a succubus. So is her twin sister. But while Allison spends her summer break hiding in the library behind her goth makeup, Jade fools around as often as she can. Allison can';t believe Jade would ignore their mothers fatal example so recklessly, but concealing a cursed bloodline and its dangerous effects is far from Allison's only problem. Man girl Julie's snob mob is determined to ruin her summer, and Aunt Sarah's Bible thumping is getting louder. Only her new friend, Ren Fisher, offers safe haven from the chaos of her life.

    When on of Jade's risky dates leads to humiliation and sudden tragedy, Allison reels, and Ren catches her, but But as her feelings for him grow, so does her fear that she'll hurt him - or worse- in an unguarded moment. The choice is coming - love him or save him - but Allison might not live to make it. One way or another, the curse will have its due.

    To start off, I want to thank Allison V. Cook for sending me a digital copy of the book to review! From the beginning of this book, when I first started to read it, I instantly fell in love with it. I loved the new concept of a Succubus. There are so many YA books around now days that focus on things like vampires or zombies, so  I loved the new take on a supernatural main character. I really loved the writing style especially. Angela V. Cook really out did herself with the incredible writing in the story. No only was the writing amazing, but the characters were so deep and raw with emotion.

    I really loved Allison, she seemed to be the smarter of the twins when it came to things like who know how to keep themselves safe, being as they are both succubus's. She was so head strong and new what she needed to do. I liked that she made the choice to dress goth in order to keep other safe by keeping them away from her.

   Her twin sister, Jade, I wasn't such a fan of. She seemed to completely disregard their family history and what Allison would say to her. However, she was a great character for the story. She really brought the other side of the story to light and created drama. I think what I am trying to say is, that I loved to hate her.

    I really fell in love with this book and it's characters! This book had me like;

In the future it is definitely something that I will be re-reading and I'm sure falling in love with all over again. Thank you again to Angela V. Cook for sending me a copy to review!
